In its 11th year the St. Teresa Basque Festival is better than ever. With the help of Zen Bat Gara, the University of Nevada’s Basque dancers, our Bertsolari, the verse singer, Sandy Moore and her dog herding demonstrations, wood-chopping contests, games of Mus dotting the park, and, of course, an incredible meal complete with mahogany grilled lamb, turkey and chicken, beans from Gardnerville’s three Basque dinner houses, and a mouth-watering lamb stew, there isn’t a better way to spend a Sunday. We are happy to celebrate with you the rich heritage and traditions of northern Nevada’s Basque culture.

This year we have increased our distribution and contacts in order to showcase the best of our community and celebrate our 11 year Anniversary.  Our sponsors who participate in our 11 year Anniversary will reach over 19,000 Carson and Douglas residents. Consider the following facts:
